Note: Pyle writes:The interior of a newsagents shop, with magazines spread on the counter. A cat sits on a row of books. Yeats equates the cat's position whimsically with that of the reporter in the press gallery.

Condition
Slight cracking visible on close inspection lower right, this area appears stable. One slight area of flaking visible upper centre to the right of cat. Otherwise very good condition.
