Note: Madge Campbell was born in Belfast and lived in Ireland, London and Spain with her artist husband who died in 1979. The couple had no children. Her death in 2006 marked the end of an era of important Ulster artists including Daniel O'Neill, Gerard Dillon, and Arthur Armstrong.
