Note: The engraver and watercolourist James Malton (1761-1803) was employed as a draughtsman in the office of the famous architect James Gandon, known for building the Four Courts (1786-95), the Custom House (1781-91) and King's Inns (1795-1815). Malton's prints are, arguably, the most important series of engravings of Dublin.
