Note: Sheet size: 12.75 by 19in.This artwork was part of the response of several of the finest visual artists in Ireland to a selection of stories/essays in the anthology: From the Republic Conscience (Liberty Press, 2009).Amelia Stein's photograph at Boulevard des Capucines in Paris is her response to 'On being asked to write 1,500 words to Celebrate the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.' The story, an interpretation of Article 2 of the UDHR, takes the setting of a French romantic comedy.
