Note: Dr Kennedy notes that, "Despite the title, this may be a scene on Lough Fee, near Leenane, the background mountain with its distinctive profilr being Garraun which rises to a height of 450 metres. An almost identical composition to Landscape with Thatched Roofed Houses by a Lake (Kennedy, no. 622, p.226)."

This work appears to be in excellent condition. The board is stable and surface is clean. No signs of cracking or flaking of the paint.
