Title: PORTRAIT OF A LADY SAID TO BE ANN GARDINER (1746-1810)
Note: Ann Gardiner was the daughter of the Rt. Hon. Charles Gardiner M.P. (1720-1769) of Dublin. In 1762 she married William Power Keating Trench M.P. of Garbally, County Galway. Ann Gardiner sat for Nathaniel Hone with her eldest son, Kirkham (b.1774) (see The Irish Sale, Sotheby's London, 21 May 1998, lot 232).
