Note: Trish McAdam began making films in the 1980s with audiovisuals, including NEW YORK and HEROIN, screened at pre- music gigs. Co-Founder of the Ha'Penny film Club, Temple Bar Studios, a number of shorts followed, super8 and 16mm, including THE DRIP. 1997, her first feature, SNAKES AND LADDERS, screened at Sundance, Toronto. McAdams then made a number of documentaries including HOODWINKED about Irish women since 1922, now housed by the IFI as THE HOODWINKED COLLECTION. Since 2009, she has made a number of charcoal animations including ROUGHTIME, STRANGERS OF KINDNESS, and in 2016 had her first solo show in the Butler Gallery. CONFINEMENT (2019), a timespace map, screened in the Dublin Film Festival 2019 and in a May 2019 Irish Film Institute season of her films.
