Note: Michael Beirne lives and works in Co. Kilkenny. He is a Senior Lecturer at Waterford Institute of Technology. His solo exhibitions include: Project Arts Centre, Dublin; Temple Bar Galleries, Dublin; Sligo Art Gallery; and the Butler Gallery, Kilkenny. His work is included in many public and private collections in Ireland and internationally including the Crawford Municipal Art Gallery, the Butler Gallery Permanent Collection and University College Cork. He has participated in numerous selected group exhibitions in Ireland, Poland, Denmark, France and the United States.
