Title: NU DE DOS
Note: One of two typical O'Conor drawings, each of a female resting in an interior and drawn with O'Conor's usual sense of immediacy and directness. These drawings were part of a larger group which came into the posession of Madame Bellard, an elderly Nueil-sur-Layon resident who was employed by O'Conor's widow as a "femme de menage." They were acquired by the local physician, Dr. Robelet and subsequently sold in Brest in 2009. They were exhibited by the Dickon Hall Gallery in Belfast where purchased by the present owner.Dr. Roy Johnston
