Title: LILY RECLINING
Note: Born in Enniscrone, County Sligo, Ireland on 25 August 1866, Mary Susan, known as "Lily" to her family and friends was the daughter of John Butler Yeats and Susan Yeats (née Pollexfen). Her siblings were W.B., Jack and Elizabeth Yeats.She became an embroiderer associated with the Celtic Revival. In 1908 she founded the embroidery department of Cuala Industries, with which she was involved until its dissolution in 1931.
