Note: The moustachioed gentleman smoking the cigarette seen here is the same character the artist used in his work "Where Every Prospect Pleases…" (detail, illustrated in fig.1) dating to 1964 and which sold through Whyte's (10 October 2011, lot 36). It was exhibited at the RHA, Dublin, 1964, catalogue no. 192 and shows the same gentleman with a horse and jockey before Florence Court, near Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh.
